Pre Press
Our pre-press department is staffed by highly skilled experts who ensure that your work is set up right, so that the final product is perfectly in line with the original specifications and requirements. This is especially important for multi-page books or pieces with special folding or die-cutting. We balance quick turnaround with stringent quality control to keep your project moving efficiently and flawlessly.

We offer many types of proofs, from black-and-white to contract digital matchprint to assembled digital Dyluxes in addition to PDF proof distribution

For digital platemaking, we have multiple image setters that image up to 25 plates per hour (about twice the standard industry rate)

There are only a handful of printers in the country to utilize this new one-pass through the press sheetfed technology, saving our clients multiple plant visits and 50% of their on-press time while at the plant.

PRINTING | Sheet Fed
Universal Millennium's sheet-fed presses lead the way in innovation. Whether you need a simple 4-color job or a more complicated 10-color annual report or anything in between, we have the technology and expertise to deliver exceptional results, on time and within budget.

Our sheetfed department, capable of printing up to 10 colors, consists of a total of 9 offset presses. The new Komori 10 color press can print up to 10 colors one side or up to 5 colors both sides - all with one pass. One pass, two sided printing eliminates backup problems, ensures exacting two sided registration, and guarantees uniform color balance throughout the run. In addition, this particular press can print on stock up to 24pt, which makes it an ideal selection for a multitude of packaging and POP applications.

A single pass "J" press can print up to 6 colors on both sides simultaneously saving clients 50% of their on-press approval time and in many cases, eliminates the need for multiple on-press client visits to the plant.

Because of our diverse customer base, we understand the importance of large run capability. It is for that reason that we have created one of the most comprehensive web departments in the industry.

With over 4 full size presses, extremely fast and technologically advanced web presses to choose from, we can efficiently produce large high quality publication runs, perfect for the most discriminating projects.

Our high-speed heat-set web presses are capable of producing full-color direct mail, collateral pieces and catalogs perfect for the needs of the commercial and educational industries. Our cold web presses handle 16 and 32 page signatures and are primarily used to print materials for the financial markets.

Our techno advanced web capabilities allow us to ensure exacting color controls page after page throughout the entire press run. Our newest web acquisitions, a high-speed 4-color Hantscho and an 8-color Harris, will enable us to produce 'annual report quality' materials. Both presses possess extremely versatile 'in-line' finishing capabilities as well.
